Did the flavors of sugar and bitter sweet almonds and coffee in Imperial Biscotti Break also make you sentimental? Now we topped it off with insane amounts of doughnuts. This all time American favorite is making it’s way back into the spotlight and we at Evil Twin Brewing are not letting a tasty trend pass us by without taking it to the next level. Drink it with great gusto - Forza Doughnuts.

$8.29 pint can, Wine Warehouse. Pours thick, black, and with an inch of dark brown head. Aroma is effing doughnut - seriously. Like the brown cakey kind; also chocolate, coffee, vanilla, alcohol. Flavor is chocolate cakey doughnut, vanilla, a little coffee (not a ton), a little alcohol in the end. Sticky. Nice.

Can from Bierhalle Deconinck, Vichte, West Flanders, Belgium, consumed Saturday 26th May 2018 at Bearded Theory Festival. Plenty of coffee, rich, warming and sweet and a little sticky. Some cinder toffee, Not getting much doughnut flavour and it's just nowhere near as good as Biscotti not sure why but it doesn't taste anything like as good. This drinks far easier than 11%, mmhh..I think it's good but not great. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Canneded 476ml. -from Bierhalle Deconinck brought by kajser27, thanks. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate and light vanilla in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, vanilla and alcohol with rather sweet chocolate finish. Well done.

Canned 11/15/17. Smell is like chocolate glace. Taste sweet. Very nice and thick. Not a lot of doughnut, but I get the idea. Almond and coffee I get. Very nice again :)

Seems like a sweeter version of Biscotti Break, with a heightened milk chocolate vein and a sweet bun backbone that grows a tad cloy on the fade. Vanilla and anise round out the profile, while bakers chocolate and coffee pop up on the finish. Pours a thick, viscous black with a brown head and modest lacing. Perfect feel; nice chocolate doughnut nose. Good, but gets a bit indulgent for my tastes.
