Bottle from Hopduvel. Hazy dark brown, stable, tan head. Aroma of sour cherry, blue plum, brambleberry, blackcurrant, toast & jam, wood, red wine. Taste has sour cherry, unripe blue plum & tart peach, lemony & lactic edges around a soft toasty, jam-like malt core. Gently earthy hoppy finish, very tart, vinegary, still fruity and woody-tannic. Hidden red wine-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very elegant.

--Sample (8%), thanks oh6gdx! -- Hazy copper colour, rich lively head. Acetic oaky nose. Tart with medium body and rounded, spritzy mouthfeel. Acetic with oaky vinegar and red berries. Low bitterness.

Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Dark amber colour. Moderate malty and moderate acetic aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle 8% @ Søgaard tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are lactose acid, fruits, flowers, little caramel, malt, hops and has a nice sour finish.

Aus der Flasche (Abv 8.0% / bbe 01.2023) im 2021-10 getrunken. Dieses dunkel-rot-braune Ale kommt ziemlich unkompliziert mit einer recht einfachen Aromen von irgendwelchen dunklen Früchten und einer ganz feinen Säure daher. Es ist sicher ein schöne Begleiter zu einem Essen, aber allein getrunken wirkt es auch etwas langweilig. Da gefällt mir das wunderbare Sigma Wild Forest weit aus besser.

Backlog June 2019. Clear amber body under a thin beige head. Funky aroma with some dark malt and relatively mild acidity. Taste is fresh and acidic, smooth malt, wood and slightly harsh bitterness. Fine body and same aftertaste. Quite nice and refreshing but ends up a bit one dimensional.
