dark brown, huge head, lots of yest, and dried fruit in the aroma. flavour is all dried fruit, nice and complex, little bitter in the finish. quality stuff.

Pours a ruby brown with a thick off-white head. This is quite the tasty dubbel. Aroma of dark fruits, caramel, some yeast, nuts, somewhat sugary. I’ve been quite impressed with the Chimay beers.

Классический Абадский Эль.Имеет множество оттенков и привкусов ; ягоды, земляника в том числе,цитрусы и цветочные нотки. Мешают всему этому великолепию четкое алкогольное послевкусие.

Bottle 0,33ltr: For i began to rate, i got three bottles with three different expiring dates . The first, expiring date 2005 hazy brown coloured, with an burning mouthfeel. Taste of an very mellow smooth faint whiskey and there is an good vanilla smell and taste also. The second, expiring date 2008 this have not that whiskey-like appearance, but is more nuttier of taste, and hints of caramel. But its slight weaker of character. The third. expiring date 2014, the one thats counts for this rating. This have more body and have an more foamy head. More taste of spices, and hints of caramel.
