Classic Belgian dubbed. Caramel and toffee malt with some slight herbal hop note. Rich amber with a creamy off-white head. Soft on the palate with similar flavor notes. Touch of diacetyl #BJCPstudy

Reddish-brown color with light brown frothy head. Caramel, malt, spices aromas. Light bitterness and sweetness in taste. Average to full body. Light carbonated, with long fruity, bit alcoholic finish.

Bottle from Belgium, cheers Matthias. Aroma is extremely rich. Sweet, chocolate malts like a doppelbock, some sourness like vinegar and omer ghinste. Murky brown with a lasting foam after inital yeasty spots. Taste is surprisingly light, heavy on raisins. Some liquorice. Less profound than the smell. A really nice brune, but thought it could be a little more interesting in taste. (4/1/22) ---- Bottle from Carrefour Express, Leuven. Not so rich aroma this time. Soft drinking double beer. With nice warmth at the end. Easy drinking. Kept at 3.6
