Bottle at the Dovetail, Farringdon, cheers to Matthew B leaving drinks, 23/09/22. Black with a good sized tan cap. Nose is chocolate pot, coffee bean, dark malts, fruit slice. Taste comprises dates, stewed fruits, dark malts, lesser coffee and chocolate presence, prunes, Belgian yeast esters, cocoa sprinkle. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Decent.

A sip... More than enough... Awful smell... Awful taste... Even my wife who really likes chocolate beers didn't like it... Down the drain.

Can picked up at Fresh Market in Costa Rica. Pours dark brown with a medium sized creamy beige head, lots of sticky lacing. Chocolate on the nose, then apples, toasted malts, caramel, fruity, nutty. Interesting. I want sure what to expect and it didn't disappoint.

Tap at Malt Worm. Medium objective body, feels full though, through high silky carbonation and mouthfeel. Also lots of milky cofeeish chocolatey flavour, feels like a classic Slovak bonbon. Imo good but not great, mostly evocative of primary school milky coffee drink.
