Black with thin head. Aroma is a little boozy and has some notes of red fruits. Flavour is quite like a chocolate liqueur. Boozy and quite dry.

Draught @ Zeezicht, Breda. Opaque black color, small brown head. Aroma is malts, brown malts, earthy. Flavor is malts, brown malts, earthy, a slight sweet note in there, also slightly boozy. Light roast in the background, bitter. Hmm flavors somehow don't really get together so to speak. Hmm don't know, I find this a bit odd. 6-4-6-3-12.

Spanish stout trying to evoke Wiener Sachertorte, thanks tderoeck for sharing. Regularly shaped, pale beige, moussy rim lacing in streaks, over a very dark brown-bronze beer - near black but still largely translucent. Aroma of 'fondant' chocolate, hazelnut paste, vanilla, blackcurrant, dates, caramel, fig jam. Sweetish onset, candied dates with a brambleberry-like sourish touch, softish carbo, thick and oily, bit resinous mouthfeel. Caramelly and nutty malt body with chocolatey edges, toasty bitterish accent in the end, some vanilla and quite a lot of warming, even somewhat astringent, whisky-ish alcohol. Enjoyable stout but I hardly noticed the apricot marmalade mentioned on the label; if you want to create a decadent pastry stout like this, look at Omnipollo and make it as decadent as possible - this one lacks in lush, chocolatey sweetness to achieve its goal of being liquid Sachertorte. But an enjoyable stout nonetheless, as said.

0,5l from bottle at Mala Gissona Beer House. BB 06/2018. 9% abv. black color, small coffee colored head. smells earthy, grassy, berry notes, light vanilla, nutty. nice smell. Full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes grassy, nutty, peppery, berry notes, oxidized, vanilla, bit boozy. finishes lightly sweet with notes of berry notes, vanilla and nuts. taste reminds me of a boozy version of anagram, does not taste too fresh anymore. breathing helps the beer though. overall still rather nice.
