(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a steady and slightly off-white foamy head. Moderately sweet malty aroma with traces of cara-malt, biscuits and shy notes of herbal hops. Light-bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Plain (cara-)malty taste with a whiff of biscuits and herbal notes. Bitter-sweet cara-malty finish. Boring Märzen (31.III.09).

Metallic-golden beer with a just yellowish tinted, cohesive head. Extremely grassy nose, very fresh, slightly leaning towards hay and warm, pale malts. Dry, very dry hayish taste, with a retronasal feeling of toasted malts, but fading away quite quickly. Better than average, however; Medium bodied at best, slight slickness. Pity about the fast fading taste. Initial impression is quite good, better than usual for this brewery.

Prinzregent Luitpold Festbier
[Keg] Blond beer, poor head. Cheap aroma; some fruitness. Lager with a sweeter body, not interesting.

Strong helles with a malty focus. Golden, medium body, thin finish. Boring - not nearly Christmassy enough.
