Pale yellow color. No head. Not much of aroma. Not much of flavor too. Very typical "lets make yellow water" type of brew.

Pale gold coloured body with a one centimetre tall white head. Aroma of pale malt, rice, metal and hints of cereal. Light-bodied; Sharp lemon and herbal notes at first with a slightly metallic and bitter malt flavour, but soon followed by a rather fresh tasting grassiness. Aftertaste shows all malt with some slight pungent notes ranging from alcohol to cleanser. Overall, showing more flavour than most beers in Cambodia, but that isn’t necessarily a good thing - still not a drain pour, but not a great beer of course. Worth trying if you go over to Cambodia, since it’s a smaller production place than a lot of Cambodian beers. I sampled this 33 cL can purchased from Angkor Market in Siem Reap, Cambodia on 06-April-2012 for 3,000Rial or US$0.75 (expensive there, actually) sampled at home in Washington purely on the other side of the world on 06-January-2013 - with the can exactly as pictured on the profile, with one side in English and the other in Khmer.

33cl can from a Minimart in Phnom Penh. Drank it on the bus to Siem Reap. Pale golden with a white head. The usual aroma of sweet malt. Sweet pale lager with a faint hint of bitterness in the finish. Very lightly hoppy, but drinkable. (2012-05-01) --- Beer merged from original tick of Kingdom Gold on 01 May 2012 at 17:12 - Score: 4
