Aroma is interesting – feels like a grilled meat. There's also some spices. Flavour has spices, apricot, ripe fruits and toffee candy. In a blind tasting my guess would be tripel. Interesting stuff.

Bottle at Zwickl in Munich. Pours hazy orange, with a big, bubbly, off-white head. The aroma is mandarin orange, brown sugar, pepper, caramel, and cardamom. Sweet and yeasty, with a mild bitterness. Medium body, with a crisp, chewy, mildly acidic mouthfeel. This is a nice, sharp, citrusy beer.

Bottle. Milky amber, low offwhite head. Light chalky mandarin hop aroma, minty notes. Medium body, light chalky and oxidized dry notes, cake malt, pleasant orangepeel and ginger notes, a hint banana. A bit candy is, otherwise well balanced.

Von der BKL 2013. trübes orangegelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv hefig fruchtig, Geschmack sehr hefig, fruchtig, bananig, leicht würzig, leicht alkoholisch.

Bottle: Deep golden to light amber coloured, small off-white foamy layer, toasty to roasty wheat malt in the nose; moderate sweet-sourish flavour, pretty full bodied; slightly lingering sweet fruity-wheaty finish. O.K.; not earth-shaking…

Heller, stark karbonisierter Antrunk. Hell, etwas bananig, belanglos. Spritzig, für einen Weizenbock laff. 11/8/9/8/11/9
