50cl bottle pours with a clear brown amber like body supporting a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up caramel sugar soaked hay, sugar malts, is that a touch of rauch maybe and light prunes and figs. The taste starts with a mix of caramel and sweet dark fruity esters like prunes, brown sugar coated ripe cherries and figs and moving into a mild rauch malt note that is blending into sweet malts and a hay like sensation and a bit of breadiness. These are some interesting flavor combinations and I’m enjoying how it is coming together.

Bottle from Bier Imperium, Vienna. Dark brown color with huge beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, molasses, honey, spices, alcohol. Taste, roasted malt, honey, dark fruits, walnuts in background. Spicy, bittersweet finish with quite strong alcoholic feeling. Good.

Bottle looks simple, but good, the beer in the glass dark, but not black, nice head. Starts strong, but not alcoholic, spicy, notes of bread. Also a bit fruity like plum. Finish well balanced, a bit warming. Very drinkable. Not bad!

Bottled. An amber beer with a thick tan head. The aroma has ntoes of malt, caramel, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of metal from the alcohol, leading to a dry, bitter, and metallic finish.
