0.33 l bottle bought at Ruthensteiner Hostel in Vienna. They keep it as a house beer, which is a nice surprise. Drank from the bottle. Aroma is cardboardy roasty. Butter also present. The date is hard to read but it seems it's got a few months left. Flavour is mildly roasty, caramel and butter. Light body, moderate to high carbonation, light but a moderately lasting finish. Boring but I'm glad I had it.

330 ml bottle from Karmelitermarkt, Vienna.
Copper, brownish, clear body, with a medium, frothy, a bit lacing, beige head.
Aroma of dark chocolate, nuts, earth, grains, dark fruits.
Quite light taste of nuts, grains, roast, bread, earth, dark fruits.
Medium, bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes light, nutty, bready, a bit roasty, slightly hoppy.
Good. More a Dunkel than a Schwarzbier in my opinion, although not as sweet as many Dunkels fortunately. Some nice nutty and roasty notes, but overall too light for my taste.

Rundes Bier ohne Aussetzer. 8/9/9/8/9/9

330ml bottle. Clear reddish, dark brown colour with small, micropore, fading, off-white head; just a thin layer remains. Minimally roasty, dark malty aroma with a touch of treacle. Taste is minimally sweet dark malty, minimally roasty, mineralic, metallic, slightly grassy hoppy overtones. Very flat carbonation.
