Back in the day, bad craft beers were really bad. This is today's version of a bad IPA - bland, lacking depth and an absence of fresh and distinct tastes. Not horrible but no real redeeming features

Tap @ the brewpub, Quebec. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are bitter hops, bread, malt and has a bitter finish.

On tap at Archibald - Montreal Airport, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out somewhat old hops, with some earthy notes, light pine and bready malt. Flavour brings out earthy hops, feet, some cardboard, and bready malt. Does not taste fresh at all. Whatever the case, this isn't good.

This beer nailed the IPA style like Trudeau wearing traditional Indian garb. Sour and misplaced infection. Pours golden with decent head and good lacing. Cloying finish. Tap at airport brewery location.

Draught at Archibald - Aéroport de Montréal; 6% ABV
Golden color. It has the malt and hop profile of an APA, not an IPA, with a grainy, cereally accent; the hoppy is lightly grassy.
Oh, well, of course, this is not the West Coast…

Tasted on tap at the brewery’s pub in Lac Beauport, Québec on August 9th 2012. Mainly hoppy aromas. Color is clear dark gold with small head and little lacing. Straight off the bat, hops are at work with very cutting and dry bitterness. I suspect a lot of Cascade in there. Malt is also doing a good job supporting a light caramel accent; just enough. A very long all bitterness finish. A straight forward IPA like it should be.
