Clear pale gold with a decent white head. Touch of grains. Bitterness and some grains.

On tap at Archibald - Montreal Airport, pours a clear dull yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out cereal grainy notes and toasted malt. Flavour is along the same lines with crisp biscuity malt and grainy notes. A bit seltzer, but it works.

Crisp enough and fits style like Lady Gaga in a meat dress. Pours golden with ok head. Clean end. Some crisp hops. Tap at airport brewpub in YUL.

Can enjoyed from a mason jar at my hotel room in NL. Spirited carbonation gave me trouble pouring. Slightly hazy dark yellow color with a huge bubbly white head. light bready crackery pilsner malt hints of floral hops and a touch of clove that shouldn't be there.

On draught at Trudeau Airport, 4/18/15
Small white head fades to cover atop a clear, blonde body.
Light hoppiness in the nose shows not much more than a dusting of pepper and dry hay. Some bitter notes are consumed by a slightly unsettling vanilla-cream-like sugar note. Somewhat strange, almost waxy, not sure what it is (partial grain brewing? Don’t know). Other than that, it’s wholly inoffensive with no alcohol and no DMS/diacetyl.
The flavor is very wet, watery, extremely lightly hopped (again, just some very light herbs, minimal peppery bitterness) with loose carbonation and a rather lifeless feel to it. Sugars are much too high, resulting in a not very refreshing beverage with more of that weird vanilla-waxiness. Probably not as bad as I’m making it sound, but I didn’t stay for a second....Based on the ratings, looks like I should have started with the L’insoumise, but it takes a deeply disturbed individual to pick the English Pale ale as their first beer at a brewery.

Draught at Archibald - Aéroport de Montréal
Blond color with no head. Dry, a bit crisp and grassy, not spectacular but just enough to elevate above the most common mass Lagers.

Tasted on tap at the brewery’s pub in Lac Beauport, Québec on August 9th 2012. Aromas are light floral. Head is perfect with exceptional lacing. Color is dark straw and very sparkling. Flavors are sweet and malty with notes of honey to start with. Then hops are taking over with floral and grassy notes. The balance hop / malt is almost perfect. Sweet accents of malt are making a good job on the body. A high quality pilsner. The second best one I tasted after L’Amère à boire’s Cërna.

Enjoyed this one with my bandmates at Joe Smoked Meat in Quebec City (right before one of our shows). Poured a light golden colour with a big white head, decent retention and lightly carbonated. Not much aroma... maybe a bit of bread. Watery mouthfeel, but is quite refreshing. Good fresh grain taste with mild sweetness, but not much bitterness. Overall, decent mild micro pilsner.
