Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Hazy, golden colour with an amber tint. Small, white head. Fruity aroma with citrus, grass, grapefruit and caramel malts. Taste is bitter. Medium body, creamy texture. Finishes bitter with citrus hops. Good bitterness - malts balance.

Second rating: Big offwhite head. Slightly hazy deep yellow body with light carbonation. Orangey minty spicy aroma with herbal notes. Dry-sweet orangey toffee and biscuits taste with mealy orange rind notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry spicy resiny wooden aftertaste with orangey herbal toffee notes. A sugary background through the whole thing. Very nice, and highly drinkable. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Vika, Oslo.) 7,4,7,3,14=3.5

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Moderate malty and heavy hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter wonderfull flowery flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Well balanced beer. Creamy palate.

Bottle, 10C. Just hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma of grapefruit, light caramel, some herbal honey. All those come through in the taste, finish is dry and quite bitter. Hops don’t quite disentangle themselves from the sweetness. Still, pleasant enough.

On tap at ØlFestival 2012. It pours a clear, golden body and a small, off-white head. The aroma has a soft citrusy and lightly peachy hoppyness, with some pale malts underneath. A touch of pine cones too. The flavor has citrus peel up front, but only the white part of the peel from oranges and grapefruit, with some pale malts as a backdrop, but not much sweetness. It’s pleasantly dry on the palate, full-bodied and nicely carbonated, finishing mostly bitter. Overall, a beer that could use some more of almost everything, alcohol excluded, but it drinks easy and tastes nice anyway. BTW, I don’t think it’s alcoholic in any way, just saying that the ABV level is perfect. 120510
