Bottle. Light orange with a big foamy head. Aroma of yeast, some clove and citrus fruits. Taste is yeast, wheat, grains, a little bit of banana and lemons. Aftertaste is somewhat bitter and unpleasantly artificial. Medium to strong carbonation. Rather thin and watery for a Weizen. Slender but not satisying.

Bottle:Pale golden, hazy, creamy and pretty stable white head;yeasty-wheaty nose, citrus and bananas from far behind; moderate and relatively dry sourish-bitter(!) flavour, light to medium bodied, creamy MF; lingering sourish (citrussy) and herbal-hoppy finish. An unexpected goody…

Many thanks for this beer to Erzengel. Nose is grainy and slightly wheat like. Aroma is grainy again, not much fruity and yeast like, body is a bit low, some hops, lemon at the finish,

500ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with average, firm, frothy, more than fairly lasting, white head. Fruity and wheaty aroma, hints of apple, some clove. Taste is slightly dry, wheaty, grassy, minimally tart, fruity, hints of apple and pear, some clove, subtle sweetness; slightly prickling carbonation. Quite nice.

Vielen Dank an Erzengel! Milchig trüb, dunkelgolden, viel weißer Schaum. Geruch sprizig fruchtig, hefig, etwas Citrus. Geschmack sehr malzig, Weizenmalz, Nelke, würzig, nur wenig fruchtig, sehr würzig malziger Abgang.

(33cl bottle) Hazy, light orange colour with a huge and dense foamy white head with a moderate persistence and beautiful lacing. Slightly yeasty, moderately sweet malt aroma with a low to medium wheat-character; strong fruity (banana, mandarin) and restrained phenolic notes. Light-sweet and slightly acidic flavour with a bit harsh yeasty bitter notes; fruit-accented yeasty and moderately wheaty taste; pretty slim bodied for its 5.4% abv; medium to light crispy carbonated mouthfeel; thin, slightly sweet and wheaty finish with yeasty and hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Drinkable but not perfectly balanced Hefeweizen.

Test vom 13.4.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 14,5,5,5,8,5 - 6,05
