Mild malzig herber Beginn geringfügig schokoladig. In Mittelteil bereits wässriger, die Aromen sind noch angenehm, nehmen aber weiter ab. Röstiger, wässrig bitterer Nachhall. Ok. 9/8/8/9/12/8

330ml bottle. Minimally hazy, dark copperish brown colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Malty aroma with a cocoa and nougat touch, cautiously fruity hoppy overtones, hints of mandarine, redcurrant. Taste is sligtly fruity hoppy, minimally bitter and tart-ish, hints of gooseberry, redcurrant, malty basis with a touch of cocoa, some nuttily notes. OK.

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, ruby brown colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Moderately sweet and delicately toasted dark malty aroma with hints of caramel, cacao and a tinge of fruit confit. Moderately sweet flavour, light bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly toasted dark malt character with caramel/toffee, traces of chocolate and a distinctive fruity touch of dark and red berries and shades of citrus; moderately sweet and slightly toasted malty finish with a mild but rounded fruity touch and a restrained bitterness, but shades of woody and herbal hops are detectable. Slim but likeable Brown Ale. 09.IX.14
