Bitterfelder Bock, naturtrüb, 75-cl-Flasche vom Hotel Gröbern am See. - Kupferrotbraun, leicht trüb mit viel Bodensatz. - In der Nase üppiges, blaß nussig-fruchtiges dunkles Malz, Kakao, ein wenig schroffe krautige Hopfung. - Antrunk füllig-weich toastig-dunkelmalzig mit Nuß und Karamel, leicht unsauberen fruchtigen Tönen und frischer, leicht ruppiger krautiger Hopfung. Satte karamellige Malzsüße mit Zuckersirup und Honig. Wenig rezent, breit; nicht restlos kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang fein malzbitter und nicht zu knapp hopfenherb. - Fülliger, süßer dunkler Bock, ein wenig unrund bzw. holprig, dennoch probierenswert. (25.5.2021.)

Dunkler, etwas blechern malziger Start. Geringe Süße, moderat herb, süffig. Könnte mehr Tiefe haben, trotz dem Karamelltouch zum Ende eher eindimensional. Okay. 8/10/9/9//10

Vielen Dank an Erzengel!! Klares bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit einer sehr geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach reifen Früchten, gering Alkohol, Karamell. Geschmack sehr karamellig, Vanille, reife Früchte, gering alkoholich, gut trinkbar!

75cl swing-top bottle from Edeka in Halle/Saale. Malty intense nose. The beer starts fresh and smooth. Lots of malt and caramel, but still highly drinkable. Very nice and smooth. Fresh and malty body, caramel, hints of roast. Very nice balanced and dark and deep. Moderate bitterness in the end, Caramel but not too sweet, round malt, nice balanced!

Thanks to kappldav123 for the bottle in a great old school design. A dark amber in the glass, a mighty head for a Bock. Starts soft malty, pleasant sweetness, a little bit coffee and fruit. Later more roasted malt. No heavy Bock, very drinkable. A good Bock!

Thank you to kappldav123. Dark reddish brown color. Sweet dark bread aroma with licorice and raisins. Sweet dark caramel and dark bread taste with licorice.

0.75l swing-top bottle with courtesy of kappldav123. Brown colour, creamy small off-white head. Caramel, dried fruits and some nice hops - a well balanced example of the style, the alcohol is well hidden so the beer is dangerously drinkable.

75cl bottles, looks really good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts strong-malty, not too roasty, fine dry notes. Some earthy hints. Modest fruity like raisins. Finish well balanced. Quite drinkable for a bock.
