Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is sweet pale malt and alcohol. Picking up a little grassy noble hop. Flavour is on the sweet side with an alcohol sharpness in the finish. Moderate bitter, medium body. Rough beer.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear yellow gold with a thick white head. Aromas of lemon and hay. Taste adds herbal notes sweet malt. Corn on the finish. Went down pretty easily.

0.33l bottle, thx Dejan. Golden body, tiny thick white head. Herbal notes, vague malty undertones, trace rubbery touches.Lean dry malty taste, sweetish, mild herbal undertones. Pretty elegant and well made really, underrated here somewhat, even if it's not the most exciting beer around.

330ml bottle [as ’Birra Magalotti 1845’]. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Expressionless, sweet-ish, grainy and strawy, pale malty aroma, filtrated almost unto antiseptic regions. Taste is sweet pale malty, slightly fruity, hints of apple, a touch of pear and banana peel, cautious hints of diacetyl. Underperformer.

As Magalotti 1845 Bock. Pour a clear golden color, topped with a medium sized white head. Grainy malt aroma with some grassy notes in the back. Sweet and malty taste, some bitterness in teh finish with some alcohol feel. Nothing special, although nothing too bad either. Alcohol presence is a bit of a nuisance, but ok.
