On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Dorata, abbastanza limpida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note di malto, pane, miele, biscotto. In bocca è dolce, maltata, monodimensionale, niente di che. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Potabile.

Bottle @Mad for Beer (Rome-Italy). Semi clear ancient golden color, creamy white irregular foam. Nose: sweet honey notes, so much of it. Christmas cookies. Mouth: sweet...yes, but esile too. Molasses, sweet malty.

Vielen Dank an kevnic2008! Glanzfeine goldene Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig und getreidig. Geschmack scharf malzig, getreidig, hopfig würzig, naja!

Der Bock beginnt äußerst hopfig und passend herb und steigert sich dort noch. Malznoten spielen auch später kaum eine Rolle, so ist es auch erfreulich, dass der Bock keine unangenehme oder klebrige Süße aufweist. Stattdessen wird der Hopfen später süßlich, was aber in angenehmem Rahmen stattfindet. Trotz der Schwere bleibt der Bock so ruhig süffig, der Alkohol wird spät erkennbar, dort aber deutlich. Mit der Zeit herber, damit gehen trockene Noten einher. Guter heller Bock, der durch den Hopfen profitiert. Gefällt! 9/11/12/12/12/11

Bottle: Golden, medium-sized, slowly collapsing white head; moderate sweetish-grainy nose with a touch of alcohol and some delicate aromatic hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet finish with a touch of alcohol and some balancing hops in the aftertaste. Unspectacular brew.....

(bottle, 33cl, directly from the brewery) Clear, golden colour with a big and dense foamy white head. Sweet and slightly biscuity malty aroma with notes of draff, citrus-fruity and slightly flowery hops, accompanied by a whiff of alcohol. Moderately sweet flavour with a delicate hoppy bitterness, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Rounded pale malt-character with notes of biscuits, grains and subtle fruity, also flowery noble hops on the other side; medium-dry sweet-bitter malty and hoppy finish. Nice one. 06.V.10

bottle, Getränke Göbel Giengen. Clear golden yellow, mid-sized white head. Pleasantly hoppy aroma with a touch of perfume. Medium to full-bodied with a medicinal hop character. Intensively hoppy for a Bockbier, the malt is in the background. Herbal accents are also present, as well as some alcohol in the finish. Spircy and quite hoppy.
