04-07-20 // Hopfenjünger-Hef big bottle sharing 2020. HJ-Blindtasting: surprising. Slightly oxidative. Sweetness. Slightly boozy. Ripe fruits. Still good.

375ml bottle. Hazy, dark amber colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, dirty white head. Slightly weak, fruity malty and yeasty aroma, hints of red apple, mirabelle, some dried fruit, sweet-ish, biscuity background with a touch of toffee and speculoos. Taste is sweet-ish, caramel and biscuity malty, minimally sugary, hints of speculoos, a touch of toffee, yeasty fruity hints of red and yellow apple, mirabelle, dry, oaky overtones, a touch of vanilla, some dried fruit, hints of raisin, fig, minimally dry and tart counterpart with hints of green apple, green apple parings, some yeasty spiciness with a peppery touch as well; creamy texture with watery surroundings, soft, minimally sticky palate, gentle carbonation. Quite complex, very well balanced, relatively highly drinkable. Surprisingly good!

Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub. Clear dark orange color, medium to full sized white head that lasts for a decent while. Aroma reminds me a little of wine, cider, applepeel, overripe fruit. Tastes about the same: apple, fruitpeel, overripe fruit, winey, softly bitter and a hint of yeast. Decent body and soft carbonation. Quite nice.

Braukunst Live München 2015. Pours a light amber color. Aroma is lightly malts, sweetish, a hint of spice. Taste lightly malts, sweetish, lightly caramel.

Sampled @ Braukunst Live München 2015 Trübe dunkel goldene Farbe, ordentliche weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch holzig, Vanille, reife Früchte, alkoholisch. Geschmack süß malzig, Karamell, Vanille, etwas Holzfass.

Wenig herber, insgesamt eher süßlicher Antrunk. Süffig, die milde Herbe bleibt bestehen, leicht getreidig. Würzig hefig, honigartig, gut. 11/11/10/11//11

37.5 bottle at home, dark orange beer with a small head, aroma is cognac/wine, grapes. Taste is the grapes, cognac, wine, fruit, somewhat sweet, very nice.
