On tap at Beer Museum. Dark with light tan head that lingers. A bit roasty and thin for a Cascadian.

0.75l bottle (ABV: 6.2%). Malty and hopy aroma, light citruses and resin, light coffee, roasted malts. Dark brown color, ivory head. Malty taste, light hopy notes, coffee, roasted malts, forest fruits, light resin, light sour, medium bitter. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation and malty bitter finish. I miss more hops in it, it’s more like porter than Black IPA, but drinkable. Ok.

33cl bottle at 100 pív, Bratislava. Pours darker than Coca-Cola, close to black, with a small, but lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malty, fairly mild, some chocolate and dark fruits, mild hoppy notes, citrus and herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with fairly mild flavours and a bitterness on the lighter side too. Mild, but fairly enjoyable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Black 14% on 23 Jun 2016 at 14:38 - Score: 6
