0,33l bottle at home courtesy of MisoW, big thanks. BB 12.04.2016. black color, small coffee-colored head. smells a bit sourish, light funk, bit musty, some earthy notes, licorice, nice smell, but not what I expect from a Black IPA. medium to full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes rather acidic, hints of sweetness, light exotic fruits, licorice, light ash, hints of sourness. finishes rather sour with notes of green apples and some grass. uhm, well my bottle was not that old, so there should not be an excuse for the sourness. overall drinkable the way it is, but definitly a brewing mistake.

Bottle at craig’s. Pours deep ruby, nose is toffee, vanilla, sugary, taste is roasted, sugary sweet, dry.

Bottle at Craigs. Pours dark red brown with a thick white head. Aromas of red fruit, almonds. Taste is ribena. Fruity finish.

Bottle - thanks Summer Secret Santa! Pours deep clear mahogany, medium tan head, dissipates fairly quickly with decent lacing. Aroma is lots of roasted malt, brown sugar and molasses, some pine resin. Flavor is roasty, a tad burned, lots of pine, a hint of citrus, not sweet, medium bitter. Medium body. Better than it rates.

Bottle from trade with Sebilinz, many thanks! Trübes dunkel orangebranes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen dunkel beigen Schaumkrone. Der Geruch ist hopfig bitter, Kaffee und etwas Schokolade. Der Geschmack ist angenehm hopfig, floral bitter, schön röstmalzig, Kaffee, gut!

A brown ipa with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet nutty caramel malt with grassy floral hops, herbaceous, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet nutty caramel malt with grassy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice nutty notes, surprising for Czech Republic. Bottle at Mondial 2015.

Dark brown colour, firm off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malts, honey, Porto wine and raisins. Malty flavour, caramel, hops. Finish caramel and something reminding of wood.

(tap 0,5l @ OP (Brno)) (26.11.2014) Version with Equinox and Waimea hops.
Aroma: Roasty, light hoppy.
Appearance: Deep black color. Medium, beige head.
Taste: Light sweet, light bitter, very harsh hops.
Palate: Medium body. Bitter finish.
Overall: Not good, very harshy. (6.4.5.3..10=2.8)

Appearance: Clear dark brown color. Long lasting beige head.
Taste: Hops, light grassy, light sweet, light bitter, light chocolate.
Palate: Medium body. Bitter finish.
Overall: Pleasant. Drinkable. (7.5.7.3..15=3.7)
