Bottle shared during the RBESG 2014 opening dinner - CBC Clapham. Pours deep brown with a frothy, off-white head. The nose has roast, citrus and toasted pine. Light to medium sweet flavor with perfumey hops, pine, earth, dry roasted malts. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly gritty earth on the finish, further pine, perfume, roasted malts. Not bad.

75cl bottle @ RBESG Aug 14, CBC Clapham, courtesy of myself, thanks to Cuso. Pours mahogany brown with off-white head. Taste is woody, sweet with caramel and bitter roast. Some floral hops creeping in. Quite liked this.

RBESG pt 1. Craft Clapham. Bottle courtesy of tiny Matt. Hazy dark amber beer, big fluffy pale tan head. Palate is airy and a little crisp. Very light malts bring mild creamy toffee sweetness. Nice hops - touch of Sorachi like lemon, little hop spice. Mild citrus and dry floralness. Dry finish brings a little candy sweetness. Pretty drinkable.

Bottle thanks to minutemat. It pours murky deep mahogany with a small beige head. The nose is rich, vanilla, candied peel, juicy, orange peel and brown sugar. The taste is bitter, dried berry, grape must, caramel, varnish, toffee, wood and toasty with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty drinkable.

Tap at RJ. Aroma light caramel, fruity hops. Clear dark ruby colour. Stable head. Taste is interesting, unusual for tmavy. Has relatively large dose of fruity/earthy hops. The maltiness is rather caramel. I do not like this combination. Finish is hoppy. Though not overally dry, the flavours are american fruity not at all mixed with the overall character of the beer.
