*Old rating, best before 23.08.03. Nettes Schwarzbier.

Unspannend. 11/8/9/8/7/8

A black beer with a small tan head. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, and dried fruit. The flavor is roasted malt, yeast, and grainy.

A deep red beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, while the flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel. I think it lacks character, but nothing wrong.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, clear mahogany brown with a fine, light brown head. Malty aroma of roasted malt. Medium-bodied with dry notes of roasted malt. Almost no bitterness. Closer to a Dunkel really. 211006

(bottle) Clear and dark mahogany colour with a mid-sized but diminishing foamy brown head. Sweet nose of roasted malt with caramel and strong notes of liquorice. Moderately sweet and moderately roasted malty taste, light bodied, smooth mouthfeel with shy notes of dark chocolate. Dry and soft hopbitter finish with liquorice. Pretty drinkable but a bit slim Schwarzbier.
