En svært mørk russisk imperial stout, brygget med pilsnermalt, sjokolademalt, karamellmalt, røstet bygg og havre. Humlen er Northern Brewer og Chinook. Alegjær gjør dette brygget veldig tungt og fyldig.

Bottle. Black color with nice tan head. Aroma is chocolate, oat, grainy, roasted malts. Taste is chocolate, roasted, oats again, cereal, a bit fruity. Surprisingly light mouthfeel, silky. Low carbonation. Nice and balanced.

Bottle. Color: Almost black, Almost no head. Taste: Plum, chocolate, roasted malt, alternating sweet and bitter notes, pretty fresh and fruity for an imperial stout. Nice one. Above medium body, below medium carbonation.

From 33cl bottle. Pours very dark plum, black, practically no foam. Aroma is roasted, chocolate, cherries under spirit, plum. Body is relatively thin for an imperial stout, with limited carbonation which still tickles the tongue. Finish is long and roasted.

pitch black colour, almost one inch, long lasting creamy brown head; aroma of chocolate ice cream, soy sauce, coffee, roasted almond, some dried sour cherry and ash notes; taste of dark chocolate dried plum, soy sauce, coffee, hints of roasted sunflower seed and herbal liquer notes; spicy alcoholic aftertaste; great imperial stout!

Tap at Takanoya. Lervig Aktiebryggeri Konrads Imperial Stout 10.4% 1200¥ for 240ml at Takanoya but considering a bottle (330ml) retailed for 1000 or 1100yen it's not too bad. 1500¥ for 470ml but for me that would've been too much. Deep brown with a thick tan head and a rich chocolate banana bread aroma that has some sharply boozy elements as well. Medium bodied and yet it finishes surprisingly dry. The taste is richly sweet cacao and dark chocolate. A touch roasty and nutty in the finish, good stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled at ACBF 2017. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours black, no real head. Smell is weak, some burnt malts. Taste is roasted, sweet, thick, burnt malts. Bit bitter, nice and thick impy, yet perhaps not specificaly memorable.

At ACBF. Lightly lacing, yellowish beige, medium thick head over an opaque black beer. Aroma of walnuts, bitter unsugared chocolate, dry tree leaves, old raisins, black tea, pear syrup, butterscotch. Candied date sweetness and some dried meat-like umami in the mouth, soft carbonation, nutty and toffeeish malt body, thick and viscous but not overly heavy and still highly drinkable also thanks to the velvety effect of the oatmeal; toasted and bitter chocolatey malt finish with herbal, almost tea-ish and lightly piney hop bitterness and long, warm, gin-like alcohol. Accomplished enough but nothing compared to that 3 Bean stout tasted just before it.
