Sehr trübes orangegelbes Weizen mit einer mittelgroßen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch angenehm fruchtig, trocken, leicht hefig. Geschmack nach reifen Früchten, würzig, leicht phenolisch, hefig, ok!

Also richtig hell ist das Weizen nicht - schön Bernsteinfarben und richtig stark trüb. Der Antrunk ist frisch-säuerlich und etwas wässrig. Der Hauptteil wird etwas vollmundiger, ist aber doch recht wässrig, dabei taucht eine leichte Süße auf, zu der sich ein leicht muffig-metallischer Nebenton gesellt, der im Nachgeschmack noch dominierender wird. Auf der Zunge bleibt eine doch erstaunlich herbe, aber doch irgendwie komische Note zurück. Dazu passt die süßliche Hefigkeit, die sich auch recht lange hält, kaum. Irgendwie schmeckt das Ganze ziemlich unausgewogen-komisch. --> Ein ziemlich süffig-wässriges Weizen, dem an Körper im Hauptteil fehlt. Und der herb-komische Nachgeschmack ist auch nicht so unbedingt meins. Trotzdem mal interessant zu probieren! (Test vom 12.5.2008) --> 12,9,12,8,12,9 - 9,75

Bügelverschlußflasche: Cloudy, deep golden coloured, average, but stable off-white head, a pretty solid amount of ripe bananas in the wheaty-grainy - sweet and tart - nose; light to moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, light to medium bodied; slightly lingering sweetish-wheaty and sourish finish with the usual tartness in the aftertaste. More than an average Weizen....

bottle with thanks to pivnizub! Cloudy pale golden colour, large and creamy white head. Whetay and yeasty with an intensive touch of ripe banana. Very nice one.

swing top bottle 500ml.-Nice murky pale amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, odd fruity nose with notes of tomato. Sweet malty, fruity and yeasty with mild wheaty and spicy notes. Slightly acidic finish. Pretty ordinary weizen, expected better.

(draught at the Biergarten of the brewery) Cloudy, deep golden to amber colour with a mid-sized off-white foamy head. Slightly sweet and minimal acidic wheaty and yeasty nose with a tinge of citrus an notes of cloves. Bitter and slightly tart flavour, almost medium bodied with a creamy, not to say flat carbonation. Yeasty and moderately wheaty, subtle grainy taste with restrained fruity notes and rising clovy spices towards the short finish. Mediocre and pretty unconvincing Weizen (05.VIII.09).

Modriger, wenig malzig-herber Antrunk. Etwas herb-bitter im Mittelteil, kein bisschen hefig. Sauer im Abgang. Ein eher misslungenes Weizen.. Danke an Erzengel. Test vom 28.12.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,4,6,5,9,5 - 5,50

[Hannes Weizen] Cloudy orange-golden color. Average aroma, sweetish, hay, fruits (light pumpkin, peach). Round mouthfeel, pretty sweet, good malt, with a nice spicy note in the background. Bitter and long final. The most original of the beers I had in Frankfurt, a pleasant surprise.
