The original ’Classic’ was introduced on the occasion of Tuborg’s 120th birthday. Together, the complex combination of several different types of malt results in a playful mixture of an easy-to-drink beer with lots of great taste. The beer is dark in color and has a little bit of sweetness in the taste.

0,33 l. can. Amber colour with a medium sized white head, that faded fast. Aroma of malts and notes of hops and straw. Medium sweet taste with a very lively carbonation. Thin body with a shortlived finish with weak notes of hops. Not much bad to say about this beer. Not much good either to say about this beer. Better than the bland Tuborg Green.

Bottle. Poured a pale gold with a nice thick white head. Aroma and flavor were similar with sweet malts leading the way. Nice and thin on the tongue. Definitely could be more flavor.

Overall Impression: All over the place in Europe, I found this beer to be just about the definition of average/decent/mediocre/etc.

Can. A clear, dark golden beer with a diminishing, finger-thick, off-white head. Some artificial fruityness in the aroma, some caramel, a little hint of cooked vegetables, and some citrus. Rather weak. Caramel-sweet, malty flavor with fruityness. Some resiny hops giving a decent bitterness towards the finish. Effervescent, medium body. A mostly clean, boring beer with good drinkability. (090514)
