The original ’Classic’ was introduced on the occasion of Tuborg’s 120th birthday. Together, the complex combination of several different types of malt results in a playful mixture of an easy-to-drink beer with lots of great taste. The beer is dark in color and has a little bit of sweetness in the taste.

(Can, BB 05/2009). Golden color with shade of amberm small white head. Cardboardish malty and grainy nose. Reasonably ok malty body. Flavourwise very ordinary sweetish malty, a bit harsh in the finish. I can’t trace caramel malts. Soft malty aftertaste. Like drinking Heineken ... Vienna? You must be kidding.

can, 33cl. quite bad aroma. eggs dominate. later, it gets a bit more bearable. yellow/golden with head that quickly disappears but looks good while it’s there. grainy, very subtle sweetness, some unpleasant bitterness, i just had a few other danish macro’s this one is a little worse, due to amongst other things sunburned beer flavor.

Bottled (4.5%, brewed by Sinebrychoff, Finland). Deeper golden with small white head that laces slightly. Aroma is buttery and caramelly malts along with some very earthy notes. Flavour is mild buttery with some hints of malts and grassyness. Easy to drink and refreshing, but flavourwise very boring.

Bottle. A low impact Euro lager. Golden in colour with a slight white head. Sweetish malt and tired hop aroma. Flavour also inclined towards sweetness, with a watery mouth feel and short, bitter finish. Bland.

(Bottle, Copenhagen Airport, 29 March 2008) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, grassy nose with grain and boiled vegetables. Malty, grassy taste with a hint of malt sweetness and a touch of boiled corn. Rather pointless beer.
