Draught@CBC2016 Red Session. Black colour, brown head. Aroma is liquorice, some alcohol, mild bourbon notes as well as some vanilla and mild smoked/roasted notes. Flavour is ripe fruits, some liquorice, toffee, alcohol and mild wooden notes.

Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, oak, vanilla, smoke and coffee. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long chocolate, vanilla, ash, oak and coffee finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Draught @ CBC. Pours black with a brown head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, sweet chocolate, cocoa, vanilla, wood, bourbon. Flavor is rather sweet, malty, caramel, chocolate, cocoa, wood, vanilla, bourbon, alcohol. Medium to full body, average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 140516

Draught at CBC 2016, Red session. Good lacing from a fading tan-coloured head. Jet black body. Attractive oak, mid-sweet malty nose. Oak vanilla flavours added by liquorice and chocolate, bourbon hints beneath. Lingering sweet malty ending. Well bodied. A good one (Copenhagen 14.05.2016).

Tap at CBC 2016, Red session. Poured a deep black with a round off white head. The aroma is roasty malt, alcohol. Not much else. The flavour is moderate sweet with a watery alcohol, light fruit, yeasty palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lacks body, too alcoholic and needs more flavour, but not too bad at all.

Tap@ CBC 2016. Pours near black with a thin brown head. Barrel in the back, sweet Bourbon touch. Velvety mouthfeel. Warming, some licorice, sweetness in flavor.
