Bottle at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Poured a dark chesnut brown colour with a thin tan head. The aroma is malty, but somewhat weak. The flavour is medium bitter, but rather metallic and a little lifeless. Tastes like an Irish Red. Not my style really.

Sample at CBC 2013, Saturday. Black with a medium tan head. Coffee, chocolate, some roasted malt, some nuts and cocao. Soft and relaxed with a dry finish.

Sample @ CBC. Nice head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are chocolate, roast malt, coffee and hops. Nice dry finish.

Tap at Angels Trumpet in Phoenix. The man next to me called this the most nondescript beer he’s ever tasted and sent it back. Well i will try and describe it and certainly didn’t send it back. pours deep dark brown with nice nose of oats and chocolate. tastes quite earthy, more oatmeal than normal, bananas, milk chocolate, and some hops. palate is creamy and nice dry finish.

Sample från flaska på CBC 2013. En i sanning silkeslen stout. Rund, len, ganska torr, söta frukter och då särskilt övermogen banan, choklad, fruktig espresso och chokladkola. Snäll och komplext smakrik i lyxig sammetslen inramning.

Rating 1300. Bottle pours black with a half finger of brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and dark fruit. Taste is light bitter coffee snd dark chocolate with some dark fruits. Full bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation and a super long finish. Overall, great. I could drink it all day.
