Rated @ FdB Cologne 2015. Piney nose. The beer starts malty fresh. Not too deep. Malty round. Fresh but not too deep. But still interesting round. Malty dry, hints of water, smooth but a bit boring.

75cl bottle. Looks really good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Starts intense malty, roasty, not too dry. Light sweetish background. More and more earthy-malty, hints of coffee. Finish milder, well balanced, quite drinkable. Easy to drink. But nothing really special.

750ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Not overly intense, minimally piney, hoppy aroma, slightly roasty, dark malty background with a coffee touch. Taste is roasty dark malty, minimally papery dry, more papery than grassy hoppy overtones; light ans slightly watery. Monotonous, anaemic, floppy.

Wenig hopfiger Antrunk, kaum malzig, wässrig. Herb, langweilig, eigentlich belanglos. 11/6/7/6/11/6

Trübes orange braunes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, deutlich hopfig, aber insgesamt schwach. Geschmack schwach röstmalzig, schokoladig, gering hopfig, schwaches Black IPA.
