0,1l from bottle at Craft Beer Festival Graz as "Forstner Padua-Doppelbock 7.5%" shared by Saeglopur, thanks. almost black color, small off-white head. smells of licorice, coffee, spices, light ginger, winter spices. nice smell, kinda hard to explain. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes quite strong of spices, bitter herbs, salad, grass notes, some alcohol, light licorice. finishes with light bitterness and licorice and herbal notes. decent stuff, liked the smell better than the taste, taste is a bit harsh / also a bit unclean. overall drinkable beer.

Sampled from bottle at Craft Beer Festival Graz.
Dark brown body, with a medium, creamy, dark beige head.
Aroma of pumpernickel, dark bread, spices, some dark fruits.
Tastes of dark bread, christmas spices, dark fruits.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an averave carbonation.
Finishes spicy, bready, roasty, a bit fruity.
Very nice. Really unique, with interesting spice and dark bread notes. Drinks pretty smooth for the ABV. Another characterful beer from this brewery.
