Trüb bernsteinfarben mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, grasig hopfiger, fruchtiger Geruch. Geschmacklich grasig hopfig, fruchtig mit Citrus, etwas Karamell. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.

WIr bekamen die Version 2023 mit 20 ka Röstmalz und einem Hopfenmischmasch von Böhmischen, Wastcoast und bayrischen Huell Melon-Hopfen. Kein einfaches Bier, aber sehr aromatisch und dazu noch fein harmonisch gestaltet. Verspeilet Aromen um einen spritzigen Kern. Wirklich tolles Craftbier aus der amerikanischen Brauerei aus dem ersten Bezirk Wiens.

Jan. ’16. On tap at the brewpub. It poured hazy deep amber to brown body with medium sized head. Light caramel and tangy unpasteurized herbal and citrus hops aroma. Flavor was lightly sweet, caramel, red fruit malt and only bitter towards finish. Herbal and lightly citric in that aspect. Quite thin in body with shorter, dry herbal finish. Okay little brown ale, but missed body.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy amber, off-white head. Caramel, malty, roasted, some hops and fruit notes. Finishes dry and bitter. Not bad.

Deep red, hazy body, with a big, fluffy, light beige head.
Aroma of berries, citrus, grass, flowers, caramel, bread, some toast.
Taste follows this pretty much, with some more herbal notes.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, medium dry, floral, zesty, grassy, slightly piney.
Nice one. Nothing special overall, not too hoppy, but with nice, varied malt notes. Pretty much an Amber Ale in my opinion. Good winter beer, while I’ve had better ones at this brewpub.

Tap at the brewpub. Caramelly with a slightly sourish twang hinting at an infection - does not seem natural. Hops mostly subdued, rather sweetish sugary and malty brew.

On Tap at the brewbub. Orange goldenes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch säuerlich malzig, leicht hopfig fruchtig. Geschmack leicht hopfig, fruchtig, unangenehm säuerlich im Abgang.

From tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy, light citrusy hoppy. Estery, fruity. Bitter, grassy and crisp citrusy finish.
