Klare goldgelbe Farbe mit kleiner, weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, getreidiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig, schwach hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit leichter Bitterkeit, leichter, wässriger Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure. Völlig belanglos.

Jan. ’16. 0.5 l can from Penny, Vienna. I’m puzzled is this the same as schankbier with reduced alcohol, or the new beer, since the former is nowhere to be found anymore. It poured a yellow body with medium sized head. Aroma of hay, grain and cheaper lemony hops. Lightly grainy sweetish flavor with a bit of herbal bitterness ending paper-like. Thin bodied with shorter, already mentioned finish. Nah, what could I expect.

Can, 0.50l, courtesy of Maurizio. Clear pale golden color with large frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma is grassy, grainy and citric. Taste is clean malty, chalky, grassy and papery with crisp and dry mouthfeel and moderate bitter finish. Light body, watery texture and average carbonation in palate. That’s an insult for King Gambrinus...
