Hell herber, leicht süßer Getreideantrunk. Spritzig, leicht ansteigende Herbe, getreidig-karamellig im Mittelteil, geringfügig bitter-hopfig. Mittellanger Abgang. Gut trinkbar. 5/10/9/9/7/9

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks very simple and I dont like that blue glass. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts fine malty, modest dry, more and more spicy with bitter background. A bit metallical. Finish well balanced. Tastes better than the bottle looks like.

Blaue Buddel im Brauhaus: Pale golden to golden, stable small head; mild strawy and floral nose, some pale malt underneath; mild and dry bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and "crisp"; slightly lingering hoppy and grainy finish. Not a great one, but well drinkable…

Pours a golden colour, grainy, hops and bitter. No sweetness and that’s how a pilsner has to be.

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Strawy and slightly doughy malty aroma with notes of grassy and herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a modest, almost crisp carbonation. Dry and slightly doughy pale malt character with present grassy and herbal hoppy notes; moderately bitter, pronounced grassy and mildly herbal hoppy finish. Tastes as if it came from the North of Germany; still likeable though. 31.X.13
