Dunkel gelbe Farbe, viel fast weißer Schaum. Dachte zuerst etwas stimmt mit meinem Glas nicht, weil das Bier nach dem Einschenken so extrem sprudelte. Aber bei späteren Verkostungen mit anderen Gläsern war das auch so. Herb fruchtiger Geschmack. Aprikose, Apfel, Quitte und Getreide vereint mit einer deutlich bitteren Note. Die Hefe spielt auch mit rein. Obwohl das Bier 10 Minuten lang deutlich vor sich hin sprudelt (optisch ist das durchaus ansprechend), ist zu keinem Zeitpunkt zu viel Kohlensäure drin. Schön lebendig ja, aber nie zu scharf / rezent. Warum das Bier so sprudelt findet man nach ein paar Minuten am Boden des Glases. Viele grobe Schwebteilchen die langsam zu Boden sinken und an denen die Kohlensäure ausperlt. Dabei hab ich recht kräftig und ausgiebig die Hefe aus der Flasche geschüttelt. Egal. Gute Substanz, was auch in 5,5 % Alk zum Ausdruck kommt. Ein schmackhaftes und interessantes Weißbier.

--Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. -- Clear pale golden, mid sized head. Bready nose with some banana. Mid sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. White bread, paper, some phenols. Low to medium bitterness.

50cl bottle. Pours hazy golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Aroma of mild banana and yeast. Taste of mild banana, citrus, hay, yeast, pale fruits, interesting!

Rating from 2009. Hellgelb-trübe Farbe, süßlich-hefetypischer Geruch. Der Antrunk ist mild-weich, schön hefig-süßlich. Zum Hauptteil wird die hefig-milde Note stärker und vollmundiger. Kaum Herbe spürbar. Ideales Zusammenspiel aus vollmundig-weicher und angenehm süßlicher Hefenote mit den mild-süßlichen Weizenbiereigenschaften. Angenehme Kohlensäure. Der Nachgeschmack ist lang anhaltend, prickelnd-frisch und toll hefig-mild-süßlich.

Bottle (purchased at the Brauerei): Pale golden to golden, hazy, mid-sized, slowly collapsing beige head; lemons and bananas in the slightly tart and wheaty nose; quite light bodied, light to moderate sweet-sourish flavours; short sweetish-wheaty finish. Mild and pleasant, but quite tame...........

(bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a fluffy white foam. Light-sweet wheat-malty and citrus-/banana-fruity aroma with light clovy notes. Sourish sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, soft on carbon. Slightly yeasty, moderately wheaty taste with a marked fruity note of banana and ripe citrus fruits; moderately dry, sweet and sourish fruity finish with light phenolic spice. Balanced and enjoyable Weizen (11.05.08).
