Untergäriger Lagerbock, kalt gehopft mit Hüll Melon Hopfen aus der Hallertau. Vollmundig im Geschmack mit fruchtigen Noten von Melone und Walderdbeere.
Gebraut anlässlich der Stadtjubiläen unserer Nachbargemeinden Schwetzingen und Oftersheim.
Im Jahr 766 wurden die Orte „Suezzingen“ und „Offtresheim“ erstmals im Lorscher Codex erwähnt. 1250 Jahre später feiern wir das Jubiläumsjahr der Nachbargemeinden Schwetzingen und Oftersheim mit einem besonderen Bier: dem Jubiläumsbier 1250.

(bottle, 75cl) Hazy, murky golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Slightly oxidized malty nose with hints of caramel and present fruity, slightly floral hops. Moderately sweet and mildly bitter flavour, medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly bready malt character with notes of caramel, accompanied by moderately fruity hops and alcohol; the latter getting stronger towards the sweet and bitter hoppy finish. Not bad but a tad alcoholic. 04.III.18

Schampus-Fläschle (@Selgros, Wattenscheid): Deep golden, hazy, slowly collapsing loose off-white head; moderate sweet grainy-yeasty nose, mild traces of caramel, wood and sherry in the background, herbal-fruity hops well detectable; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, fizzy; lingering boozy sweet-bitter finish, yeasty again, some vanilla in the aftertaste. Not great! Unharmonic, boozy and not well balanced...

bottle from the Getränkemarkt next to the Welde brewery. Slightly hazy pale golden with a tall white head. Malty start, some dusty hops with a touch of grass and hay. Lingering bitter-sweet finish.

Many thanks for this beer to Erzengel. Pours a light amber color. The smell is caramel, hops, grain.

Trübes dunkel orange goldenes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, getreidig, Karamell. Geschmack getreidig malzig, süß, leicht alkoholisch.

Smooth and nice bitter round beginning. Full and rich with a nice and floral bitterness. Hints of yellow fruits, the body is a bit grainy but the whole picture is round. Very smooth and soft stuff with a quite bitter ending. The hops in the end are bitter crisp, hints of fruit. The Hüll Melon is there, but the whole Heller Bock is quite dominant, but the fruity hops fit in well. Nice brew with a smooth bitter grainy ending!
