A cloudy gold with a foamy head. This pils has a soft fruit and crackery malt aroma. A crisp light body, dry finish and a wheaty spice, herbacious hops and clean taste. As the label says a reckless beer. Turns out my great grandfather was a draveur de pitoune (logs on rivers) so that’s pretty cool.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy blond color. Wheaty and crackery malts aroma; some hay flavor; strong bitterness, a bit grassy, but also traces of vegetables. A bit mellow for a Pilsner.
Decent one.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lovely grassy hops upfront, with a light herbal quality, and floral quality. Flavour is along the same lines, with grassy notes dominating. Fairly one-dimensional but that one dimension is very nice. Lots of bite on the finish. Very nice pils.
