Bottled at Ottawa gathering Cloudy golden, mid sized head. Floral nose. Mid dry with light-medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Bready, floral and grain. Perfumy. Mid bitter finish. Much better now. Bottled at SBWF 2014 Hazy golden, mid sized head. Grassy fruity nose, unfortunately riddled by boiled vegetables. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Light floral hops, but the vegetables remain until the finish. (5/4/3/4/9 2.5)

Bottled@SBWF2014. Small white head on a pale yellow body. Aroma is fruity, wooden, mildly salty notes along with some grass and earth. Flavour is salty, mildly floral, some bready malts as well as mild grassy and herbal notes. Balanced, but not all too special.

Draught, National on 17th, Calgary. Very cloudy yellow, smells yeasty, tastes it, too. Soft body, mostly sweet, and overall malty but a bit bland. I won’t call it bad but I’m disappointed.

Bottle: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and light lacing notes. Aroma of lightly sweet malt backbones is refreshing. Taste is mostly dominated by lightly sweet cereal notes with some light herbal notes. Body is about average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable and refreshing but I would have liked this better with a more crispy dry hops finish.

Crisp lager-like kolsch or pilsener. Cloudy blonde with ok head and lacing. Just an average beer that seems a bit past its due date. Style uncertain. Avoid. Bottle.
