Taste starts with a roasted malty sweetness and caramell. Blockmalz Bonbon. If you know them. Little bit scratchy. Present hop, grainy in the middle part. Increasing fruity and a little bit alcoholic to the end. Nice Doppelbock.

Tap at Bielefelder Schankstube [at 6.9% abv.]. Cloudy chestnut colour with ruby glimmer and average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Nutty and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of chocolate, hazelnut, a touch of malt lozenge. Taste is slightly sweet dark malty, nutty and chocolately, notes of chocolate, hints of hazelnut, roasted nuts, a touch of caramel and malt lozenge, bitter hoppy counterweight finds completion in the finish. Unspectacular, but strictlyto the point.
