Flasche (Dank den Denkingen!):Golden, hazy, medium-sized and lacy white head; moderate to solid citrussy and slightly piney nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and pretty smooth; lingering sweet-bitter lemony finish with a drier koppy "tail". Really a well balanced and pleasant brew...

Heller, fruchtig hopfiger Antrunk. Dabei sind Noten von Fruchtgummi präsent. geringe Süße, um so stärkere Bitterkeit. Wenig steigend hopfig, die Fruchtnoten sind mittlerweile nur noch wenig präsent. Im Nachgeschmack erst langweilig, dann noch einmal hopfig, mild herb, nett. 9/10/11/10/12/11

Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks very interesting. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Wonderful hoppy-flowery aroma. Starts with wonderful hoppy notes, fine fruity, notes of grapes and lemon. Grasy hints. All well balanced. Finish grasy-hoppy, quite drinkable. I liked it!

330ml bottle [Freiburger American Pale Ale Slam (FrAPASlam), contestant #1, liberally sponsored by bartlebier, thank you very much!]. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately, lacing, white head. Tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of mango, passion fruit, orange. Taste follows the fruity hoppy line in a more orange dominated, zesty mode.

Trübes orange goldenes Bier mit einer geringen weißen schaumkrone. Geruch mild hopfig fruchtig, trocken. Geschmack trocken hopfig, grasig, leicht floral, ein Hauch von kokos.

(bottle, 33cl) Almost cloudy, orange-golden colour with a blond and firm mid-sized foamy head. Fruity and piney hoppy aroma with tropical notes of pineapples, mango and passion fruit, backed by a mildly malty and yeast-spicy touch. Rounded sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Tastes like a tropical fruit cocktail in the most positive sense with a balanced bitterness-sweetness ratio, highly aromatic and delicately drying hops; lingering fruity hoppy and mildly hoppy finish.
