33cl bottle from a trade with Douberd, many thanks! Gushing! Pours hazy dark orange golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of spicy and herbal malt, mint. Taste of herbal malt, green tea, vegetables, mint, high carbonation, strange!

Bottle from brewery, batch 15002 BB 09 - 2016, large sample. Cloudy amber brown color, huge rocky and bubbly head making a loy of coca cola noise. Aroma is quite spicy, licorice root, some alcohol, coriander, bit citrus. Quite sharp in taste, spicy, some alcohol, slight citrussy tartness. Quite high in carbonation, bit too high. Alcohol is not annoying, as it does fit a strong tripel/saison style. Not bad.

33cl bottle from De Bierboom in Brugge. Poured into a Westmalle chalice at home Dec 2015. Murky reddy brown in colour with a huge beige head, couldn’t pour the whole bottle in as it was so lively: sediment oozed out in both the pours, the second one was especially murky. Yeasty nose and taste with a mild sourness and ’funky’ feel to the whole thing. Real Saison style beer in all aspects really, farmyards, meadows, cows and soggy soil all in a bottle.
