Tap (ZUP, Wroclaw). Barwa czarna z mega obfita, brazowa piana, gesta prawie betonowa i swietnie zdobiaca szklo. Aromat intensywny, czekoladowy, kawowy, palony, bardzo bogata mieszanka aromatow. W smaku bardzo zbieznie, slodkawe z delikatnymi nutami sherry aczkolwiek alkohol swietnie ukryty. Posmak palono-slodki.

Tap at Fermentoren, Copenhagen. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin light tan head and the lace was glued to rhe side of the glass. The aroma is sweet roasted malt, alcohol. coffee. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a rich dry, earthy alcoholic red berry fruit palate. Moderate to full bodied with soft carbonation.

Complete black brew with a fine creamy beige top. Looks nice. OMG the aroma was weird. Rich weird fruity, chocolate and dark malt. Thick oily body. Quite sweet and an unbalanced bitterness. Soft carbonation. Far out on the fruit sweet side when it comes to flavor. A bit homebrew-ish. Also chocolate, molasses and coffee. Oh no. Not my cup of imperial. But liked the commercial description about the name on this brew.

Black with huge frothy tan head. Fruity aroma, fresh cut wood. Thick, creamy mouthfeel. Sugary flavour, which almost overpowers roasted and chocolate notes.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable tan head. CLear aroma of malt, caramel, chocolate and lactose. Sweet flavour of milk chocolate and caramel malt, with notes of coffee and sugar. Sweet aftertaste with some roasty notes. Not bad, but possibly preferred by a Russian teddy bear rather than me. Warming alcohol presence but not even the high ABV can offset the sweetness.
