Bottle. Pours clear ligt copper brown with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, malt, caramel and fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sweetish notes of caramel malt and touches of fruit and nuts. Nutty aftertaste, turning bitter. An okay beer for the style and quite enjoyable as such.

Bottle from the Lee Off License. Bronze coloured pour with a white head. Citrus and pine aroma, lots of sweet fruit in there. Malts and fruit dominate the flavour, splash of spice in there too. Not bad.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopilet Tromsø Sentrum. Gyldenbrun. Høyt tett skum med pen lacing. Skummet varer en stund. Topp utseende. Aroma av malt. En kjenner igjen bryggeriets hus-smak. Malt med en tung fruktig ettersmak. Ingen typisk IPA. KU=5

dark orange to amber, smooth offwhite to orange head.very mild aroma, some malts, some flowers. kinda boring. esp. for something called ipa. flavor is malty, sweet caramelly, slightly flowery sweet. i must say that although the beer tastes sort of okay, i’m quite dissapointed reg. the name. Sampling without thinking ipa, however, makes it a lot better. malty beer with a bitter hoppy base to it, tastes sort of like an english bitter, only somewhat more malts and some flowery hops on top of that.

A dark brown beer, a head is medium and blond. The nose has caramell, some wood, berries. Basic brittish. Taste has caramell malts, some wood and fruits, medium bitterness that dries the taste almost dry. Medium bodied, surprisingly also some alcohol. This beer is filled up with basic brittish nuancees, but nicely fresh.

More like a modestly hopped strong ale than an IPA, but not bad

50cl bottle from Alko. Mahogany color, thick white head. Nutty, sweet bready aroma, some caramel. Flavor has dark bready notes at first, followed by strong nuttyness, biscuity malts. Bitter, nutty finish. Well hopped beer. Fill bodied, dry. Enjoyable stuff.
