0,5 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! Unclear red brown in the glass, one finger beige head. A lot of caramel on the nose, some fruity elements in the background. Taste starts with a dry bitterness, some caramel, some dark choco, toasted malt with and fruity background, some sweetness. Low carbonated. Okay.

Aus der Flasche im 2018-04 getrunken. Dieses rotbraune Ale mit beiger Schaumkrone hat einen etwas merkwürdiges muffiges Aroma. Dieses Aroma kommt wahrscheinlich daher das eine moderate Hopfennote durch den deutlichen Honigeinsatz ausgeglichen wurde. Am Gaumen ist diese Kombination besser gelungen und der Honiggeschmack ist deutlicher, aber hat halt keine heftige Süße durch den Hopfen. Im Grunde hat das Ale eine interessante und süffige Aromakombination mit vollen Körper.

Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Starts fine malty, spicy, sweetish, hints of honey. Also some herbal notes in the background, different spices, dried fruits. Finish well balanced, still sweetish-spicy. Interesting!

Süßer, trocken malziger Antrunk von Honig. Hell getreidig, mittelstarke Würzigkeit. Der Honig ist weiter präsent, die Süße aber sinkt. Spritzig. 7/9/10/9/9/9

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing! Sweetish and grainy beginning. Malts, moderate bitterness and mild and slightly sourish hints. Highly drinkable therefore. Honey herbal in the aftertaste, grain, fresh and smooth sweetish. Nice.

50cl swing-top bottle. Pours hazy orange brown colour with a mid-sized good lasting beige head. Aroma of honey, hazelnuts, red fruits. Taste of honey, sugar, nuts, caramel, red fruits, dark dry malt.
