Bottle. Sweet, dark sugar, peppery aroma. Seemingly clear very dark brown colour. Semi-stable light brown head. Distinct carboard flavour! Not past BB date. Rather peppery flavour too, some sweetness. The alcohol is very present in the aftertaste. Oily mouthfeel. Off?

Red-brown tinted, very dark beer; paler beige head. Perfumed Belgian chocolates nose, with alcohol, rainwater, grassy. Sweet, faint chocolate powder, blackberry sauce flavours. No alcohol taste, except blended into the sweetness. Past this sweetness, however, the rest is pretty neutral, not much individual characteristics. Warming up, more bready notes in the finish. Bit burning MF, well bodied. Nothing very distinctive. OK beer, just a bit disappointing and too sweet IMO for a porter of whatever kind.

Bottle: Dark amber coloured, thin off white head; fruity (raisins) nose, some traces of alcohol and roasted malts; starts sweet and fruity, sweetish flavour, leading to a longer bitter-sweet aftertaste; all in all quaffable, but lacks complexity.

The aroma sour hoppyness. The color is brown and it has a fast disappearing head. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel. The body is thin especially taking the 7.5% ABV into account.
