(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Original, Brussels, 19 Oct 2018) Hazy yellow colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of citrus, white bread, dough, lemon and a lactic acidity. Fruity, tart taste with lemon, white bread and a fresh lactic acidity in the finish. Light body, dry. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice.

2019-04-14 Bottle, Marlene. Color: Pale hazy yellow golden, very fast disappearing white head. Aroma: Tart, grain, funk. Taste: Moderate tart and light to moderate sweet, citrus, grain, Brett funk, mineral water. Hints of sour apple. Under medium body, average carbonation. Nice Berliner Weisse. I like the funky part of it. 2020-05-25 Bottle. Dietrich (the 1 year bottle-aged version of Marlene) Color: Very hazy pale yellow, fast disappearring white ead. Aroma: Tart, fruity, a lot of farm barn funk. Taste: Light to moderate tart and sweet, subtle fruity citrus, lemon and ripe apple notes, quite some farm barn like Brett funk, mineral water. Under medium body, average carbonation. Hard to compare with Marlene due to the time passed. Nice one. Same rating.

Bottle at Abseits. Runky Brett in the nose, yogurt and barnyard aromas. cloudy, bright gold with a low head. Lightly acidic, with yogurt, lemon. Slightly sweet up front but finishes dry. Soft and silky, almost flat. Refreshing and lovely, great flavor from the Brett and w/o fruit added.

15-03-18 // bottle shared at Kuehn Kunz Rosen, Mainz. Properly poured into a Schneeeule pokal glass. Hazy yellowish body and a foamy head. Nose og grains and mild bretty wildness. Very light bodied but still with good aroma. Grainy, hay, farmhouse with yeast notes, definitely brett and lacto aromas. Mild sour, mild acidic. Thirstquencher.

(bottle, 33cl) Cloudy, yellow colour with a huge and loose foamy white head, slowly collapsing. Slightly funky yeasty wheaty aroma with notes of white bread, hints of vanilla, backed by a citric and floral touch. Mildly sour flavour, light bodied with a sparkling carbonation. Dry and tart wheaty taste with delicately lactic notes, citrus and dust; mildly sour and slightly bitter tart finish. 09.VI.18
