Buddel (as Dreizack (unlimited)): Hazy to cloudy, pale golden, small foamy layer; moderate to solid fruity-orangey nose with traces of coriander, yeast and bitter hops, distinctive bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, a bit tart, a bit fizzy; lingering dryish fruity-yeasty finish with a distinctive bitterness and a slight alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. No glory, but pleasant and warming...

330mml. bottle. Tasted on the 11/10/2018 at home. Many thanks to Koelschtrinker for this one. Color ambarino con una capa de espuma media. Aroma a caramelo, una hierba aromática (cilantro?) y levadura. El paladar también es bastante maltas caramelizadas y hierbas aromáticas. Final ligeramente fuerte y alcohólico. Next one please!

Another solid German tripel. Florals, coriander and a litle clove in this. Pours hazy golden with good head and lacing. Touch of citrus. Finishes with a bit of sweetness. Solid balance. Bottle outside Drink Drunk in the middle of the night.

0,33 l bottle from Beer Supreme, Oldenburg. Regular version with 8.5 % abv. Pours out in a murky orange golden, more than one finger off white head. Strong belgian malty yeasty smell. Taste starts smooth, belgian sugar sweetness, then malt, some orange fuitieness in the background. Some herbs. Hidden alcohol. Nice stuff!

Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, light banana, caramel, yeasty, coriander. Sweetbitter aftertaste, quite peppery, grainy, husly notes, full-bodied, oily texture, average carbonation. Draught, 8.5% at altes Mädchen. 2017/8 version. Good, refreshing yeast aroma with a little coriander. Aroma of freshly baked bread. Hint of piney hops. Cloudy dark golden colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is nicely malty. Not sweet, but sweet enough. Has a great note of fresh baker's yeast. From the middle to the finish is a good coriander note which works really well with the yeasty flavour. The finish has an assertive bitterness, bordering on aggressive but pleasant enough. Authentic Belgian flavour.

Bottle from trade with Gabriel. Pours hazy, fizzy, dull amber with a small lasting white to off-white head. Aroma of sherbet, lemon, caramel, malt, fruit, straw and also rather acidic. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness and touch of sour. Medium body, sticky texture, above average carbonated mouthfeel. Pretty good brew overall, if slightly unusual.
