Murphy's Law reversed! When you have an off spec beer you are left with two choices. Dump it or play with it. We at Nøgne Ø believe in seeing the possibilities and grasping the opportunities given. Our miscoloured Saison was put in fresh red wine barrels, and the flavours created we found irresistible. So we made more. This bottle contains a blend of our finest red wine barel aged Saison.

Nærbø Ølfestival 2015. Golden-yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is yeast, vinous. Flavour is hay, yeast, fruit, wood, vinous. Nice beer.

Bottle at the second 42nd Floor Tasting. Thanks to Matteo. It pours murky gold with a thick white head. The nose is fresh lemon, candied apricot, peach, sherbet, earth and funk. The taste is crisp, tart, tangy, funky action, stewed orange, dirty peach, orange sherbet, wet leaves and warming alcohol through the finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Quite juicy and fruity. Found this pretty enjoyable.

Bottle @ Home. Pours slightly hazy glden with a offwhite head. Aroma of malt, yeast, bretty, grass, wood, light spice, light citrus. Flavor is malt, yeasty, loads of brett, fruity, wood, light citrus. Medium body, lively carboantion, dry finish. Refreshing. 221115

Tower 42 Tasting 2. Thanks to Matteo. Hazy deep amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Fluffy sweetness and floralness, trace of soap. Mild candy sweetness and crystallised fruits. Light semi dry finish. Okay.

Bottle shared at Canary wharf tasting . 10/11/2015. Many thanks to Matteo for this one. Hazed golden dull orange coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is funk dried apple, yogurt, sour, light smoke. Flavour is composed of light funk, dried apple, light funk, tangy. Palate is airy carbonation, tangy.
