Sensory Session #42: dark amber color and an off-white head. Nose is malty, caramel, honey as it gets warmer. Taste is malty, sweetish, nuts, bready, slightly fruity. A little dryish finish.

33cl bottle bought at the brewery. Pours clear orange brown colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of dark reddish malt, toasted malt, some nuts. Taste of dark mild roasted malt, reddish malt, nuts, dry-ish hoppy end.

Dunkler, süßlich röstiger Antrunk. Süffig, leicht steigende Malzigkeit. Runde milde Würzigkeit, ebenfalls mild aber passend ist die Bitterkeit zum Ende. Nett. 8/9/10/9/10/9

Many thanks to kevnic2008 for this bottle. Best before 16.01.15. The beer is slightly malty, nearly no bitterness. Fresh, easy to drink, slightly sweetish. Malty and dry-sweetish aftertaste. Nice, not too deep, easy to drink. Round.

Thanks to quack-duck for that one. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass light brown, small head. Starts mild, mild-malty, not very dry. Mild-roasty notes, some fruity hints of raisins. Finish still mild, almost washy. Not bad, but a bit boring.

Bottle: Amber coloured, mid-sized, slowly diminishing off-white head; metallic, dryish dark-malty nose; moderate - dryish as well - bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; slightly lingering hoppy and caramelly finish. O.K., but not too pleasant..............

(33cl bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, dark brown colour with a short off-white foamy layer. Sweet and moderately toasted malty nose with caramel/toffee, a touch of barnyard and shy hoppy notes in the background. Light (burnt) bitter flavour, light bodied with a soft mouthfeel. Toasty malty taste with caramel; moderately dry and toasty finish with a delicate bitterness. A bit one-dimensional but also easy drinkable Dunkel (26.08.08).
